Ok so Im about to tackle the turbo build. I have 95% of my parts, and Ive decided to add a vtec head. I was going to just buy a complete z6 swap, and throw my zc in my other hatch or crx but ---- it.

So with a sohc zc what would be the best head and intake manifold to use along with eagle rods, vitaras, and arp headstuds. Im looking to boost at least 18lbs, with chrome.

Also whicharp kit would I have to get for the combo? Ive seen diferent kits suggested for the sohc zc block.

i wouldnt swap the heads the zc head is amazing with a even better cam. in my book the best sohc ever made. just get the arp kit for a d16a6 motor

Ive heard that too, but I always thought vtec would gain more hp also. My zc currently isnt the vtec model.

maybe true with na but i dont think you will se much af a gain on a boosted motor

I may just go buy another zc then from the local yard, they have one sitting there for 200 bucks.

I would but I can buy an entire working jdm zc for $200 lol. I could maybe swing 100 shipped ona good head, but that would be it.
