has anyone been smoged and passed with a costom turbo setup on a d16 engine with a t25 turbo off a 99 eclipe

 

As long as you had a cat in the exhaust system, both o2's working properly 1(before) 1(after) and no fuel management on the car installed, the thing should pass like it was stock.

 

thanks for answering my question. I asked that because im putting a comtume turbo on my car i was wanting to know if it would pass or would i have 2 put the old stuff on 2 pass thank again

 

obd2 in atl they just hook up to the data port to scan for cel/codes. i re-installed my stock injectors, bypassed my resistor box, set my afc settings back to 0, and opened my wastegate. drove 100+ miles to set the ecu into readiness mode after disconnecting battery to clear codes and passed with flying colors. went home and let the car cool and put everything back to normal. an hour of work to change everything each time plus a couple of hours driving and that was it. you don't have to replace everything.

 

i feel sorry for you guys who have to hide from the smog man.
