Are you thinking of the same stuff i'm on about? I'm on about the pvc drain pipe and guttering you get in a diy shop.

hell the pipe kits on ebay are running anywhere from 70-100 bucks

 

there is dwv and pressure rated pvc, same with abs

dwv = rated for not more than gravity pressure along the length of the pipe.
pvc will blow up if dwv (the paper thin stuff) whereas cellcore will take 30-40 psi before turning into a grenade.
abs is more durable as it's designed to work like pvc only in extreme outside pressure, stress, sunlight, etc.

ill still take pressure rated fittings and pipe before stuff not rated for pressure....

Over here in the uk your looking at atleast double that for ebay crap that doesnt even have all the bits you need which is why I'm thinking of alternatives. For a kit from a retail site, its more like 400 bucks plus shipping.

The guttering pipes (UPVC) from hardware stores are like 8 bucks a metre and are 5mm thick which is why I'm wondering if it'll do the trick. From the intercooler to the inlet manifold it sounds like it should be able to cope fine (running 7psi). But from the turbo where it's pretty hot might be a different matter.

 

100ºf pvc is rated to around 330psi for 2" (60mm i believe in europe)

i've used pvc elbows reliably on a y8 with a .60/.48 that put down 200. Never had any problems
