Default Haltech E6K Stand Alone ecu

Ok ive been doing research on engine managemant and ive wanted to run in the 20s as far as psi goes (or at least have that option when racing) and with my 88 Honda Accord the only way for good engine managemant is with a stand alone computer. Have you guys used any of them or know anything about Haltech's computers in particular the E6k? The only thing I find fault with is that it costs $1500, thats about it... What do you think?

Lots of guys run the Haltech systems, I personally have never used it, but I have played with standalone systems. I honestly dont know what you are going to do about wiring harness, you can use some of the stock one, but it will be chopped up badly. If you want to know what exactly has to be done, I would contact them directly.

i have dealt with a haltech e6k on my friends mr2, wiring harness is a pain since you gotta basically wire it all yourself either to the stock harness wich is hard or on its own wich is still hard.... its a great standalone system but make sure you learn about different ones before you go and spend 1000+ for a ems that you dont know anything about
