Re:H22a turbo
Dump 3 grand into the motor getting it sleeved and professionally built, then you might be able to talk about turboing that block.
OR
I have a better idea, read thru a few hundred posts from such websites like HMT and H-T (or any honda based website) and they will tell you exactly the process you need to follow to boost an h22!
Spell check/Grammar check is another wonderful thing, look into that while you're doing your research, Moron.

Re:H22a turbo
I dont konw if this is appropriate but...
OWNED!!!!
Ok I'll be nice now, make sure you do a search and see what others have done to the H22 block when they are turboing it. I'm not too knowledgable about H22 but cant help you much except knowing that you gotta do more crap to it before you can start boosting it.

Hey, I'm not one to bash on a new person asking a question (and most of the people here are the same way). But come on man, put a little bit of effort into your post before you ask something like that.
If you would have phrased it like "Hello, I'm new to the community and I've been considering doing an h22 turbo project. Does anyone have any past experiences they would like to share with me on this kind of setup? I have spent some time searching google for some answers and found that this site has some very resourceful people with good amounts of experience that that might be able to help me. This is what I have found out so far for it -LISTING SPECIFIC FACTS YOU FOUND- Thank you for your time"
You would probably get a much better response and not get slammed. Look at the thread about the northstar engines, that dude was on the ball and got treated with proper respect.
My response is probably going to be the nicest you will receive, just wait till the rest of the members get a hold of this.. LOL

Re:H22a turbo
The only thing ive found out about turboing a H22a is you dont want to have stock internals when running even 8 pounds of boost, get a thicker head gasket, a J&S saveguard(something everyone should have with a boosted engine),I also heard things about the stock ring lands.

Because of the FRM sleeves that are in the H22's you cannot run forged aluminum pistons, thats why most people don't do an H22 becuase they have to be sleeved. The stock ringlands are very weak but if you know what your doing its not that big of a deal.
