Default gt40r

Hi I'm in the market for a gt40 or gt42r I wanted to know of some of the other brands equivelent turbos and if there more affordable. I just have always stuck to the turbonetics and garret turbos i don't know much about there competition

hey, i have a .72ar turbo and i wonder what it will spool like on my sti, any ideas? you seem like you know what you're doing

No, they aren't cheaper.


If you want a bigger turbo but can stand to use a journal bearing, look into holsets. If an "off the shelf" (or truck in most cases if you're shopping on ebay) unit doesn't have what you want, you can mix and match. Alot of holset turbos have the same chra and you can interchange housings and wheels as you please from what i've been finding out.
