Default gt28r or t3 60trim .48 on a y8?

want the 13s in my 98 ex coupe. want high 13s on a stock motor if possible safely. and 12s or better on a built motor.it is now down to these turbo now.

either will work. T3 60 if your budget and GT28 if your baller

hard to choose cuz the maps are close but the gt28r is ball bearing and spools alittle faster, but i don't know. i shall wait and see the replies of others too.

dude if you've got the money, get the GT28. if it spools faster thats a good thing. Wheres the dillema?

but which one's topend is weaker? topend is something i want to be even ya know. good spool and good topend something in the middle.

I don't like the fact of the GT28R having only an internal WG. I would think both of them would have about the same performance up top.

the turbine side of the gt28 is going to choke it off a little up top compared to the larger t3 turbine side.

that is true, although the compressor side is bigger on the GT28. You might have a very slightly better top end with the T3 60 although i dont think it will be much, because youll run out of flow with the T3 60 compressor before youll run out of flow on the GT28R Exhaust side, it all depends on how much boost you want to run. and your power goals in mind, the T3 60 will not make more than about 275-285whp before its wayy out of its efficiency range. I believe the GT28R is good for 350whp...
