I just don't get it. I want to open it up and see inside the chra cartridge but I don't know how to get rid of the wheels they seem to be bolt on really tight. Once I make it I'm positive I can do sth with it. I don't believe that I have to pay $800 for a rotating crap with a couple of stupid bearings.

Ok here is the deal: $800 for a brand new GT25 (not ball bearing) and $800 for a GT28R cartridge. What do you think?

So what do you think? Brand new Gt25 or the chra cartridge for my GT28R? The housings on my GT28R are in perfect condition.

If your housings are in perfect shape then go with the gt28. You will probably kick yourself later if you don't go with the larger of the two. I still recommend calling several reputable shops if you haven't already.

Just buy a new GT28R.They are about $750ish most online places and i would get a whole new turbo rather then ---- with repairing that one.

Why is a BB turbo unrebuildable? Every machine is rebuildable to some point. I have always heard this about BB turbos but never understand it. If you know what you are doing just open it and find out for sure. I could very wrong about this. If someone really knows please elaborate.
