GRM $2008 Challenge Build
A few people have told me to make a thread about this....
I am building a 89 Si for the Grassroots motorsports $2008 Challenge.
The challenge consists of an Autocross / drag Race and concours

Master Cylinder -
Koni's -
Roll bar-
Burnt Sparco
Momo wheel-
Mugen Horn Button-
Rear rust free hatch -
Lower strut bar -
Toe Adjusters -
-Starion Intercooler
- 1/2 rad -
-Coilovers -
-Poly Shifter Busings -
-16G Turbo -
-HF manifold

It doesn't get more Budget than this... I have about $1000 into the car thus far

66 corvair , 04 Ls1 , 930 porsche tranny
another 66 Corvair , 2.9ltr flat 6 , T04E , WRX intercooler running backwards , forged pistos..ect..ect
I need to do somethin with this...

Dude, awesome Corvairs.
We talked in pm's, but this is what I suggested since he has about $850 left:
Homemade traction bars
Homemade rear suspension limiters
OBX LSD
Figure out what you can do for free, like porting the HF and the 16g. ---- like that can make all the difference.

Oh man, this is awesome. I was waiting for someone on here to enter in this challenge. It's always been my favorite article(s) of the mag. Good luck with this, and I'll look for you when it comes out.
