even at 4psi, or do you just blow in the end while noel sucks on the signal line to test it?

but yeah, most of the egay knockoffs are exact clones of the real deal, cheap manufacturing style. i am sure it probably sounds almost identical to the type-s

i had one, it was decent.

the real one has a Slightly softer(10% or so) spring but the fake one work just fine.
other than that the only difference is the color of the valve :P (copper on real and black on fake)
oh and they sound exactly the same too.

here`s the same ---- that cost less:

~~oh I don`t work there
Interesting information, and they sound exactly the same 2. Maybe I'll be using one of this for my next setup.

Whats wrong with good Ol DSM bov's .... As far as this valve, I've actually seen one on a guys custom GSR kit, and the thing looked and sounded identicle to a Greddy Type S. Personally these valves arnt my favorites, I'd probably go with a knock off Tial of RFL.

Bump to a old thread.
Now that some of you have had a chance to try out the knock off Type-S, is the real one worth the 3x in price?

Does the knock off have the second little vacuume nipple like the real one? If not does it matter?

I dont care about sound, I just want it to be reliable and hold up to 20psi.

ive got one in my setup and have no problem with it.. and it has the second vacuume nipple.. as said above its nearly identical
but you say you want to use it up to 20psi.. even the real type S bov is not a good choice its a low boost bov (<15psi)
