i paid zero for it, hid it in my tool box at the junk yard, i threw another one over the fence into some grass and picking it up in about a hour. this has no shaft play at all and looks to be nice condition i just got done cleaning the hell out of it.

there is no specs on it but its from a saab 900turbo i think. about a 1993 or so.
its missing a wategate so i gotta find one for it.

i think it is .42/.48 but im not sure i will have to actually check it, but yay for me this is my first piece to my setup i had a shitty chrysler t3 junk that i got rid of for $50 and now im trying to trade my si tranny for some turbo parts.

I guess you can justify it any way you like, but to me, it's the principle of the matter. I have had ---- stolen from me, and have developed a hatred for any kind of thief. If someone stole a turbo out of your garage, would you say "O well, at least he's gettin boost happy instead of it just sitting in my garage" I think not.
You make him sound like the Robin Hood of turbos, stealing from the junk-rich to give boost the poor.

I used to steal ---- from stores a lot when I was in High School. Never really stole ---- from an individual since my momma raised me better than that. But after getting ---- jacked from me, I realized that stealing from anyone is ------ stupid. It just perpetuates the moral decay of society. Now that I'm older, got a good job and a kid, I don't ever even consider it. It's not worth it even if you get away with it. But whatever, steal away, just don't jack my ---- lol.

Those are two nice t3 turbos. not to be used as is of course, but Lots of usable parts to make good turbos.

The guys at all the junkyards I go to are cool as ---- and normally won't even make you pay for anything that would fit in your pocket. For turbos and all that it's $50 no matter what size and they have a warranty so if it pukes oil you get your money back.

Actually I work at one of the best you pull yards in the country and we offer a 30 exchange warrenty on anything we sell. And if we catch people stealing anything they go to jail. When I'm at the counter and someone comes up with a few nuts and bolts and thats all they need I sometimes just give it to them.
Really though when someone goes out their and doesn't come back for two hours and shows up with a bolt I'm checking their tool box for other stuff. And it's usaully got an alternator or something in it. Becuase the stealing is so bad on honda's I pull all the chip able ecu's and sell them online now becuase they get taken. All we charged for them was thirty bucks thats a great deal! but not anymore becuase of theives.

its a place of buisness. you pay a fee to get in because they are aware small ---- will get stolen. its a small ------- turbo. who gives a ----. i would never steal from people but if i can take ---- from junkyards i will. maybe if they check toolboxes like most pick and pulls do they wouldnt have people taking ----. If a flaw in the buisness can be used to your advantage who cares? and for the record i am not a thief and dont intend to ever steal. i work for what i have.

Problem is, he'll probaly be tryin' to sell at least one of those here in the near future, instead of just hookin' somebody up with some free "happy boostin"...I ain't got much respect for it, because alot of the yards around here won't let you go back and walk around anymore because of ---- like that...just my .02 :-\

Thats a crock of ---- right there. I agree about the thieving part but not that you started selling ECU's for more because they get stolen. Get real, your yard started selling them for more because they sell for more. If nobody bought the ECU's, the cars would get crushed anyways....WITH the ECU. I don't steal ---- from yards (or anyone) out of principle. Personnally though, I think if it's small enough to fit in your pocket......... :y

actually no. They were all getting stolen. we actually nomitord it by keeping track of how many were in the yard and how many were being payed for a the register. their were 3 out there and now theyre all gone and non wee payed for.
