got my turbo today
ok so i got my turbo from the junkyard today. its off a 88 volvo 740. i thought it was gonna be the t-3 with a .43 or whatever but on the plate on the turbo it says TD05-12b. its got the rectangular mounting plate. so what is this thing.

This Mitsubishi TD05 is on a 1987 B230FT and was used in 1987-1989 model years.
This turbo will put out more boost than the later Mitsubishi TD04, and the people who want lots of boost often use it. It has an integral CBV, as all the Mitsubishi turbos used on the 700/900 series do.
