Re: Good place to hava turbo rebuilt?

he did the snail on my F setup, ran great. Not one issue. |
Re: Good place to hava turbo rebuilt?
the ford 63/60 60 trim is the nicest factory turbo you can pick at the junk yard, it can support almost 300 hp as is.
....and IMO, that turbo is screaming: "upgrade me with a 400 hp T4 compressor" !!! :y (Yep, I can do it for cheaper than some peddlers will charge for just a rebuild. Why? because i don't subcontract it to another shop!! I'm the one actually doing it. as simple as that.) |

I am only going to shoot for about 250 to start out with, but a nice mid boost setup for 300 would be nice. Needs more cam and beefier rods before anything else though. :y |
Re: Good place to hava turbo rebuilt?
Yes that's what I'm saying,
The turbine side will end up bottlenecking the exhaust flow but i saw fellows on here make up to 350 whp with them, which means, over 400 HP is possible on this small .63 stage 1 turbine. That's why it makes only good sense to install on them a compressor that's able of 400HP. T04e 57 trim and t04b v trim are the most sommon choices. |
