Well then, why don't you dig up some dirt for me to read instead of trying to be a smart ass and failing miserably?

Bad personal experience or are you or are you just repeating what you lover tells you?

the ford 63/60 60 trim is the nicest factory turbo you can pick at the junk yard, it can support almost 300 hp as is.
....and IMO, that turbo is screaming: "upgrade me with a 400 hp T4 compressor" !!! :y (Yep, I can do it for cheaper than some peddlers will charge for just a rebuild. Why? because i don't subcontract it to another shop!! I'm the one actually doing it. as simple as that.)

Is it possible to upgrade the compressor section on this turbo. I have seen kits that retain the Ford style housing, but as far as I know they are for the Garrett framed turbos only.

If so, how much would it cost?

Also, wouldn't the turbine become a bottle neck pretty quickly?

I am only going to shoot for about 250 to start out with, but a nice mid boost setup for 300 would be nice.

Needs more cam and beefier rods before anything else though.

:y

Yes that's what I'm saying,
The turbine side will end up bottlenecking the exhaust flow but i saw fellows on here make up to 350 whp with them, which means, over 400 HP is possible on this small .63 stage 1 turbine. That's why it makes only good sense to install on them a compressor that's able of 400HP. T04e 57 trim and t04b v trim are the most sommon choices.

Just returned you PM before I read this response.

Can you give an idea what this might cost?
