projekteg is using a ssautchrome now for about 6 months. he made a few braces for it, and has had no problems. he made a "H" brace and then braced it to the block...seems to be doing the trick nicely.

BMC race makes a really sexy manifold also. i think his website is www.bmcrace.com

IM gonna laugh at your *** when you post later on about how your manifold fell apart and fucked up your exhaust turbine... and your looking for a new manifold (one that works< and a new turbo)

if they tell you, she's a -----, I fucked her, my cousin fucked her, his father fucked her, and so did the mail man.
Why do you stil say, yea I know she fucked all those guys but I can change her by reading to her from the bible.lol
Not only is it gonna be the cost of the welding, new manifold, and anything else that might ---- up when you're doing 90mph and your manifold decides to break and drop the turbo, downpipe, charge pipes etc. onto the street below. i almost got an ssmanifold but reading the horror stories about the made me change my mind quick. cutting edges and pinching too many pennies when you're building a turbo kit will come back to bite you in the ***. see if shitbird can make you one compatable with a/c or find someone in your are who will weld one up for you. Or buy a welder and weld it on your own, I highly recomend it.

dont brace the mani itself, that doesnt allow for thermal expansion and therefore they DO CRACK. BRACE THE TURBO. if you aernt running ac take a reasonably thick piece of ss. bend it to shape, bolt it to the turbo and the ac mounting bolt (assuming you dont have ac) and shim it at the turbo with washers to get the necessary support. i know guys that have been running for over a year like this with no probs

A good looking manifold should be a piece that is properly welded, has a good design and is made of quality materials. you can take any type of manifold and have it powder coated ceramic chrome or use other types of coatings to make it appear prettier so you can impress all the ladies with the shiney piece of metal under your hood. :P

If you're worried about shiny then can't you just polish a shirtbird or BMC manifold with some mother's or something?

SSAuto = Rice for turbos...looks pretty but as for functionality....not much.
