i'm going to try making one tonight too, from a thin piece of sheet metal.. since i run a -4 AN line with a flange, i figure i'll just copy the flange and put a 1/6th hole in it and roll

Last restrictor I made, I took the fitting going into the turbo (small 16g), blocked off one end with a small machine screw (fitting out of the turbo obviously) and filled it full of soldier. Once it hardened, I drilled my 1/16th hole and slapped it on there. Works great.

i would worry about high EGT's melting the solder into my turbine

i am gonna use the stock bolt for the banjo fitting and fill/weld the bottom of it closed then grind it flat and dril a 1/16 hole in it chop off that end with a hack saw and thread it down into the oil inlet before my fitting. we'll see how it works

That is similiar to how Blaast does the ones he sells with his turbos. Seems to work great.

It wont melt for the same reason the your aluminum cylinder head doesnt melt. Thermal ------- transfer.

And how in the hell is soldier going to get on your turbine? :1
