Don't listen to these guys. Stock ecu is good until u have some gauges Then u can check ur boost levels. Other than that I would say to get a bigger tip on the muffler

Dont listen to these guy's, get your self a vortec 12:1 FMU and you'll be good to at least 19psi.
After 20psi you'll need a AFC.

Don't listen to these guys, they want you to blow your engine!!!!!
at 5 PSI you can get away with just running 93 octane fuel. if you only have 91 octane in your area-----dont worry, you can go to any AutoZone and get a 4 pack of NOS octane booster. make sure you get the octane booster that says "for off-road use only"---because thats the good stuff.

now when you hit 6 PSI thats when you need to get an ecu. dont worry, get on ebay and get one of the chips they sell ($25), besides offering a fine tuned fuel map, they also give the 20+hp they claim......even more if you have a FMIC.

as far as injectors are concerned, they arent needed, regardless of turbo size, until you hit exactly 6.9 PSI!!!!! trust us, we know. if you everr hit 7+ it might be time to get those 880cc's youve been looking at.
but if you dont have any gauges, and your ***** set for 5psi, you will be golden.

are you ------- retardid or do you just pretend to be?
i mean that is the dumbest statement i have heard since when i first joined this forum and wanted to build an na cavalier

as for needing 93octane, pffft i have seen plenty of cars (and owned 1) that ran just as good on 87 as on 91-93, you do realize that the octane count is not mean it's more powerful it means it is harder to ignite or resistant to combustion
so the only reason to go to a higher than factory recomended octane fuel is when you either have the ecu tuned to run on the higher octane, or if you have detonation or pinging
or pre ignition or whatever you call it
now to redeem yourself can you tell me why it is the most ------- retardid thing in the world to do (other than put "dubz" on a civc)
adding octane booster to pump gas?
