I normaly use a torque wrench to tighten, and even then its a bitch. I only just bump the starter.
<--- paranoid of pulley falling off.

Today I jacked the **** up, put the ratchet on, and then lowered so the weight of the car broke it free.

Does anyone know if Bseries are non-interference engines?

they most certainly ARE interference engines

To my knowledge, ALL honda engines are interference. You are very fortunate... err... sort of.
