As much as people say the bluebox sucks it's fine on simple low psi setups. I never heard anyone blowwing their engines on a greddy kit unless people start turning the boost up. I know this isn't a greddy kit but it's better then a fmu and it's noob safe cause there's not much to mess up on.

Build yourself a better kit then the greddy do not follow my footsteps. Just get a bigger snail buy a manifold offline save your money. I went the greddy route and it left me wanting more :'(

id say get one of them tuner toyz build it yourself manifold and start from there. get all the pieces together like a good IC and BOV. and save some money for an emanage or smt-6 and 450cc injectors. and have it tuned by a pro.

whats the use of changing to a bigger turbo if you cant high boost the b16?
just give it arnd 5psi.and start your build from there :y

That sounds a little excessive, i had the hack going with stock timing and i've heard of others doing the same. Although with higher compression you would want to retard it by 2 degrees.

If you have to stay OBD2 and have the cash, try out greddy's new emange 2 (or whatver it is) i heard it's really good (compared to the first gen). Otherwise convert to OBD 1 and run crome, uber, etc..

if you use the hack, you need to retard the timing. especially with a b16. my friend blew his gsr because he didn't listen.
