Default Getting Discouraged, Please Help.

I am so discouraged at this point. I am just completely lost. Here is the situation.
I have an automatic d16y8. And I am looking to turbocharge it. I have gathered almost all the parts, but then I ran into a problem. Since I have an automatic car, I have an automatic ecu. And since I want to go with uberdata, I need to chip an obd1 ecu. So I bought an automatic p28. Then I learned that a regular obd2b to obd1 harness will not work, and that the only place I could get one was from rywire.com as they are the only ones that make it. Is this true?

And to further crap on the situation, I read that I will also need to swap my entire intake manifold because I need to convert something from 3 wires to 2. Apparently the auto one is no good to mod for some reason, so I need the manual intake manifold. That way I can do the 3 to 2 wire conversion, whatever the hell that is.

Damn I'm so confused. How hard is it to swap intake manifolds? Is this step even necessary? Or does the harness from rywire not require me to swap manifolds?

Someone aid me out, because I'm bordering on abandonment.
Thanks.

Auto Y8's have 3 wire IAC valves and its mounted on the throttle body. The manifold has blanks.

Ok so if the my y8 is a 3 wire, why do i need to convert it to 2 wire? Or do I not need to? And If I do have to, do I switch the entire intake manifold for a manual y8 intake manifold which is 2 wire, or can i just switch the tb since the iacv is on my tb anyways?
