Default Gauge Installation -Need help

Ok, so Im in the middle of install my air/fuel and boost gauge in my pod for my civic. The pod is one of those that has pods in the left and right corners by the cluster.

Anyways, they're obx gauges, and I need to run the line that ts off the vac to send to the gauge, so where should I drill through the firewall, or do I even have to drill I had a friend who ran a 4g wire for his sound system through the rubber gasket that surrounds the wirecluster in the corner where it runs through the firewall, however, I can't see myself being able to punch a whole in that gasket and still find the hose on the otherside?

2nd question, I need to connect my air/fuel gauge to the line coming off the o2 sensor, can this be done in the cabin at the ECU? If so which wire and where is it located in comparison to the inside fuse box?

thanks in advance for the help

Look in from the engine bay and you'll see a thich bunch of wires (in a black loom) going through a rubber grommet in the firewall. it is at one of these places where you cut the grommet a little and pull through your vac line/wires. Make sure NOT to pinch the vac line as it wont read right.

on my car. I got a 4g wire through a hole above the ecu. There was NOTHING there, just a 3/4" hole. (no grommet either.)

I just did mine a couple of days ago (5gen civic). There was a little plug near the firewall in the engine bay, driver's side close to the top of the firewall... I pulled that out, stuck a screw driver through the padding and that was it.

Update - I found the cluster of wires, and decided against drill near them instead I just lost my patience with that and found what seemed like a soft spot and drilled right through. Run my vac connection, but realized after the fact that if I wanted to run my air/fuel wire I'd need a longer one or I need to find out where it was on the ECU, so I just left it disconnected, so I still need a power source and a connection for the air/fuel everything else is good to go

You dont have to run the A/F wire to the O2 sensor you can run it to one of the wires that go to the ecu. Go to apexi.com to find the color of the wire.
