Default Gasoline Problems, Need Help!

Ok I'm a ------ moron and I forgot to empty my tank before I started working on my turbo. Now I have a half a tank of regular 87 octane. Does anyone know what I should do? Should I put octane booster in my tank and just run it dry or should I put a half a tank of premium 93 octane. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

As i have been told... shittier octane gas makes your engine knock under boost... thats why your supposed to put high octane gas... drive it around.. dont go lead footing it... just take it easy.... if it makes the noise or you feel its driving like ----... go home... and empty the tank out.... (syphon pump it) or something...

if you have a btm you're fine, retard the timing a couple degrees more than you would with high octane gas.

it should make much of a diff

can you not drive your car for a few days without beating the ---- out of it? just go easy on it, until its gone, or put some octane boost in.. it will help slightly.

87 oct is the worst thing.. blah

I think you will be just fine with octane boost... Thats the point . Anyway, if you dont run high octane, your pretty much fucked.
