gasket or not?

I just recently got a t3/t4 turbo and making a downpipe, the flange did not come with any gaskets for the 5 bolt pattern, could I just use high temp silicone or some kind of gasket maker and call it good? or should I just get a gasket, the problem is I can't seem to find one for the 5-bolt turbo.

just get the gasket, you can run it without one but why not just run one? exhaust leaks suck ass :y. cool for dates because then you can just turn your heater on and she will pas out but other then that it sucks. just find out what car it came off then goto the dealer and ask them to order you one.

it is a turbonetics t3/t4, their website does not list a gasket for a 5-bolt patern, I think they call it a 5-bolt ford patern is it the same one of the ford t-3's?

Ive always just made my own. Ive used both sheetmetal and currently using a coper one. You can just make a trace and then dremel one out.

Re: gasket or not?

Go to the parts store and buy a sheet of gasket paper for about 12 bucks, trace it and cut it and you have your self a fancy gasket, you will even have enough left over to make all sorts of other gaskets. O0
