I've had extremely good luck with wheelbearing grease. A thin coat between the flanges. Have te drive it off boost long enough to allow it to burn the grease up. It leaves a hard carbon seal. I've used it an a few DSMs with no leaks.
Ultra-copper rtv works ok if you're attached to the head, but if you hit over 500 degress it burns right off and will leak. Your best bet is to make a gasket out of soft metal such as copper sheeting.
well...
i had some 0.5-3 sheetmetal snd some permatex copper spray
so i made a double gasket and sprayed them about 3 coats.... ill let it dry and ill see whats gooing on tommorow.
i also tryed 1 metal without a spray.... but that didnt worked.
if the new way wont work ill try a 2-3mm copper sheet...

Are you sure you're supposed to let the copper spray dry? I thought you put flanges together while it's still tacky, so it seals better. I don't know.
