I saw an exploded vnt at an international truck plant and it was pretty cool. It was from a power stroke.

probably boost dependant i guess. Maybe uses a diagphram and a rod like a wastegate ?

i had one of these, these come stock on dogde shelby csx's , the fins redirect air to the turbine wheel inner or outer (minor/major) to change the spool characteristics, 0 lag, similar to the purpose of the evo's twin scroll turbine housing. thats a very good tubo for a roadrace car, street car.

you cant use a diesel vnt turbo on a petrol engine it wont last very long (thats why you dont see them fitted to petrol cars )
its has been done but the geometry tends to fail peugeot on the t16 engine had a similar turbo |
