Garrett VNT 20 ????
 
'm new to this forum (i'm from belgium Embarassed ) and i want to put a turbo in my civic coupe it's a D16Y8 , i have a turbocharger (garrett) he comes of an audi v6 2.5 butt i dont know anything about this turbocharger i only know this (comes of the tag)

I don't find any spec's of this on the site of garrett can someone help me ,is it possible to put this in my car does anyone have experience with this kind of turbo VNT 20 (variable nozzle turbo )

no, i believe it more or less changes the A/R of the turbine side, so you have fast spool up and then it'll get larger to accomodate more flow (i think) i just never knew how the internals worked. Pretty cool.

Cool pictures.That explains a few things.There are alot of those VNT turbos kicking around from factory cars and Im surprised I have not seen more of them being used.The idea is good.

HOLY ---- !!!!! That is the first time I have ever seen anything like that. So is there some sort of servo controller to adjust the flaps based on vehicle rpm/speed?? Sounds like a great idea - would love to see something like that on one of our cars and fully functional.

I don't see any sort electronics on it. I think that it is based purely on the force placed on it by rotating inertia (wrather that is the proper term or not I am unsure). Anyways, it's kind of like a merry-go-round. When it is going slow, you can stand up, but as it goes faster, you start to be pulled out. Purely mechanical I do believe.
