well the compressor map goes to about 300hp but its very innefficient at that range, realistically youll get 250hp at the most before the turbo is maxed out becomes a restriction. A t3 60 compressor map goes to 350hp but it to will max out at about 50hp less than the absolute max rating on the compressor map, so realistically 300hp is achievable with a T3 60. The charge temps go sky high when you operate at the edges of the compressor map in most cases. The cool part is, you can take off the .42 compressor wheel and put on a .60 compressor wheel and bolt on a .60 compressor housing (the backing plate is the same) and then you have a t3 60 HMT version

I'll be running the same turbo for awhlile once I get my setup going. I'm so use to using little RHB5 I don't know what to expect with the t3. Should I expect like a night and difference or what? Sorry to hijack your thread man.

Everyone in this thread is talking like a garrett T3 .42/.48 is a specific turbo. There are 4 different trim levels of junkyard .42/.48 garrett turbos (40,45,50,60) and each one changes the map a significant amount. Just be sure to take this into consideration when deciding what turbo to go with.

a .42 compressor is a 50 trim. A .60 compressor is a 60 trim. I havent seen any 40 or 45 trims around here.

The .42/.48 T3's from Saab's are 40 trim for 8 valve 900's and 45 trim for 16v 900/9000's
