Default garret 42.48

I was wondering what is the most hp a t3 garret/air research .42.48 could flow on a d16a6? I was going to use a t04e57trim 50a/r turbo for 300 hp but i mite use a water cooled .42.48 for reliablility and quicker spool. Whats the most psi you could run on a .42.48 without it being to unefficent and blowing hot air or frying? I was hopeing maby 250hp. I need to upgrade to a .50 or .60 compresor but i dont have anyone who balances turbos around here.

that turbo will never make 250 whp, i have a 48/60 t3/t04b and on 15 psi it mae 215 whp stock internals and my tuner (stoopid) said the turbo is just blowing hot air now, and vtec make more power than that turbo, it has a conserv tune and the dyno owner said that in reality i should be making like 235 or so. so, that turbo will more than likely not make 250...

Then you don't have a TO4B, at least not a REAL TO4B compressor wheel. Somebody may have TOLD YOU that you were buyign one, but there's a 99.99% chance that you don't have what you think you have and going by your own words of "my tuner" I'd be willing to wager that I am indeed correct.

If you had a standard TO4B compressor wheel, it would measure either 2.750" or 3.000" depending on the turbine shaft. There's alot of misinformation on the web and alot of people who're into it simply to get money from uninformed consumers, therfor there are alot of people runnign around saying things like "I have a T3/TO4E and only dynoed 200 hp, those things are teh sux0rs" when they really only have a common T3 40, 50, 60 trim that someone told them was a T3/T4.

If you had a TO4B, you'd know it and would easily dyno much higher than 215 and ESPECIALLY on 15 psi.

TO4 wheel and 60 trim T3, big difference.
