Default Which fuel pump (lph)? Mathematical Approach...

I'm trying to decide between the Walbro 190 and 255.
It seems that to determine fuel consumption you would use
(injector size) x (number of injectors) x (duty cycle) x 60 = (liters per hour)

therefore...

190lph / (4 injectors x 90% duty x 60) = 880cc

So using that, the 190 should theoritically max out with 880cc injectors at 90% duty.
How close is this theoretical number to real life?

I'm gonna be running 390cc injectors under 80% so that would be 75lph.

Based on those figures, the 190 should be more than enough for mine and most other ppl's setup on here (almost every setup i see uses 450 or 550cc injectors).

Are these figures accurate? How much error should I remove from the pump ratings?

On another note, is the Walbro 190 any quieter than the 255?

You want quiet, buy a Buick.

a 190 lph will feed a 347 Mustang with a wet kit into the 9's, I do believe my 255 HP is a bit overkill right now
