You are using a 255 high pressure pump right? well if so you will need an aftermarket Fuel pressure regulator, the fackory cannot keep up. I have the same pump and i use the aem fpr, works great. B&M Makes a kit to mod your factory FPR to be adjustible. hope this helps

i think around 35 to 45 at idle and the fpr disconnected frorm a vacum source. my guess is that you going to have to buy a better fpr. i had the same problem with my factory reg untill i bought a aftermarket one

Re: fuel psi question (help)!

no need to worry about it, when you get tuned the tuner can compensate for the higher fuel pressure. if you dont plan on tuning then the extra pressure is good. stock setting w/out vacuum line hooked up is 31-41psi.

Re: fuel psi question (help)!

not if its tuned to run 56psi, crome has a feature that allows for fuel pressure changes. not sure about the rest of the software.
