Fuel Pressure Reg or FMU?
I have a fully adjustable Paxton Fuel pressure regulator on my del sol d16z6, I am putting a td05 in it, do u think I need the FMU, whats the stock Fuel pressure, I have it at like 39 now, but I put it up and down and there are like no changes on the air/fuel gauge, sometimes it reads rich for a while but other than that nothin, I don't really want to buy the FMU, so I want to find a way maybe I can just run a few pounds more fuel? thanks

the adj fuel pressure regulator is really going to do nothing for boosting situations, since it really only changes your base pressure and does not move.
Stock is something like 32~37psi
You will need to get a FMU, or another device to add more fuel, those simply will not cut it. In fact if you really wanna go low budget, unplug your coolant temp sensor (side of the head) and find another sensor to plug in it, and just let the ****** hang in your engine bay. This will make the car think its always cold and be pretty rich. We did that for awhile on our d16z6 hatch..

Yo, You can wire the coolant sensor to a pressure switch so that when boost is on the car thinks its cold outside.. Warmup enrichenment kicks in and is quite a bit more fuel.. there is alot of people running boost up to 7 psi or so with only this mod..
