ok, I put 1 step colder plugs and gapped them to .30, nothing ,still does it, as far as the vtec thing, I have a d16Z6, they don't have the vtec, they are a pissy 125 hp engine. just checked oil, it looks good.

D16z6 are SOHC Vtec found in 92-95 ex and si models

must be a different vtec than in the '00 si, because when that vtec kicks in, you can feel it and hear it.

that is not a high flow cat. that is a just a resonator and does not convert any emissions.
high flow cats cost more. random technologies is one of the better ones to get.

I have an oil press gauge and it looks good and I checked the oil, looks good, any other ideas?

if you are using a stock ECU (P28 i assume), and your oil is good, and pressure is good,AND you checked the VTEC oil pressure sensor, then maybe it is not a FUEL cut off, maybe it is your spark, check ignitor and coil (replace them).
