check your oil......

maybe your ECU is not picking up any oil pressure from the VTEC OIL PRESSURE sensor.

Have you ever changed the fuel filter?

oil is good, and no I havn't ever changed my fuel filter. I'll try that, but if it was the fuel filter, wouldn't it kinda act up more that at WOT at 6000rpms?

took out my catilac converter, still does it. It runs great and doesn't do it when it just warms up, but after the 3 or 4th run, it starts to cut out again. :'(

Someone on honda-tech suggested this... "had a similar problem and it was because my knock sensor pulled timing because I was almost detonating. Love that little invention." what should I do if it is my knock sensor, and why did it just start going off? I know i'm using 92 octane, & the weather has been in the 70's here in Michigan.

SOHC motors dont have knock sensors

do these one at a time and test car after each to figure out the problem.

-check oil level

-GAP your spark plugs .30 then test car.

-Ground the VTEC oil pressure wire (wire from ECU)
*by doing this you bypass the sensor* if this fix your problem then you know the oil sensor is not working

-Try using another ECU.
