Did Blasst rebuild it? mabey your oil press is to high use a restrictor or if you have one turn it down

BRAND NEW Garretts should have 80psi max during warmup, but with a used turbine shaft I'd never go that high. W/o a restrictor it will be too high during startup and can push oil past the seals. It can also happen if you have a poor drain or too much crankcase pressure. I know a few setups where adding a catch-can reducing turbo smoking from bad to zero.

well i kinda made my own oil restrictor with a ball valve inbetween my turbo and oil feed ...i put a gauge and brought it down to like 20-30 psi and its still leaking oil into my compressor houseing...and my oil feed is kinda...not as high as it probly should be but i cant see it making it fill up that bad in my houseing..what does an oil catch can do?

Drop it down more, like 10psi. Oil feed has nothing to do with it, how is your return line?

its not as long as i would like it to be but i dont think that could be causing it to leak past the seals that bad can it?
