forged need sleeves?????????????????????????
i was reading something some where and it mentioned something about not being able to run forged parts on stock sleeves is this trew? something about expantion of the moving parts? so even tho they are stock bore they get slightly bigger and destroy the walls. any info would help

forged pistons need s a specific piston to wall clearence, this is usually spcified in the literature that comes with your pistons. You CAN run forged pistons and rods with stock honda sleeves (some exceptions, like h22s for example).

and like the b20? now when poeple talk about how much a stock block can handle is it the piston/rods they are talkin about or would it be the walls too? im lookin to get the set of pistons/rods off of ebay. in the $700 range. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW any thoughts?

B20? HA! you so much as look at that block the wrong way and it will crack a sleeve. If you're gona be throwing some pistons and rods in there, you NEED to sleeve it. B20 sleeves are weaker then kains self worth. Other B series blocks are a different story, you can still push decent power and not sleeve them. When poeple talk about how much a stock block can handle, they are talking about a unopened block.
I've heard nothing but good things about the tunertoyz rods, and those would be my personal choice for a rod.... they are manufactured in the same building as other well known rods to the same specs and tolerances. cough-eagle rods-cough.
