ford 4.6l sohc needs boost
im looking in to buying a t-bird as a comfortable cruiser
it's got a 4.6l sohc engine but only makes like 225hp 270ft-lbs
well i would like to get 300whp out of it just to cruise with
so i want boost
but don't know if i should go with twin t25's or somthing like a single holset or somthing?
anyone have experence turboing a tbird?

this is the same engine in the crown vics / mustangs etc, You do not need to turbo it to get to those levels. Theres a forum I don't recall the name if i find it ill post it up probably like crownvics.net or something.
You can easily get those numbers by doing a combo of things. ECU Tune, Head porting helps about 40hp on those cars surprisingly. All of this can be had for cheaper than a turbo
You could also go all out and maybe Supercharge it with some fab from a mustang SC or drop the 5.* Expedition Triton Engine in like someone did

first off your username says you joined march of 2008 which means you havnt been on here for 4 years, and second of all ht is the comple opposite of 50$ paint jobs and pvc manifolds thats pretty much as hmt as it is.
Cornfused i dont no much about fords but i think a single holset would be pretty sick on tbird and im sure its been done befor so just do some research mang
