That is a bit bigger motor than most on here, so a straight T4 turbo would probably do really well, or something junkyardy like an HX/HY 35 Holset. If you outline your goals/expectations, it would be a lot easier for us to help you out. And use the search for whatever Complex rambled about, he tends to know his ----. Welcome to HMT nignog

Re: FORD 4.0L PROJECT
Not too well versed in the smaller turbos, but I think that turbo was available in a few different wheel combos, either junkyard or aftermarket. But odds are, it's going to be way too small to toss on a 4.0L motor. Maybe 2? Best bet, post up some pics of it for us to look at, and if it does turn out to be small once someone (you maybe?) sorts out the compressor maps, throw it up in the for sale forums and sell it to get some extra dough for a more properly sized turbo.

Re: FORD 4.0L PROJECT
My step dad is in the begining stages of building his 4.0 ford ranger. You could run a gt37 off of a ford power stroke, Thats what he is gona do. I belive that his is the older pushrod motor. I think its a 95. I know Weir Technologies Inc, hase some ford 4.0 header flanges, because he made them for my step dad. Check out the ranger forums. Everyone wats a supercharger, because there is a kit for them. No one has really done a turbo set up. For tuneing hes gona run megasquirt.
