Re:FMU QUEStIONS>>HELP!
re, What do you mean by tune
A turbo kit "bunch of hardware installed on an engine" is pretty much shoot from the hip until you get it on a dyno, and adjust everything "tweak" to get the most out of what you have.. Same apply's for a muscle car.. Expensive parts can be just tossed on or into the motor, but the great ones were all tuned on a dyno by someone who know's their ----. We all have seen these cars with a comparable build that just kick ***.
For me im spending a ton of money to get it all together. a few more hundo is well worth it to get it tweaked by a pro. Dont forget alot of the guy's here can do a great job dialing it in rough but most people eventually go to the dyno.

be careful when you raise the fuel pressure. Raising it too much in hondas will kill the seals on the fuel injectors and you will get fuel passing through the injector when its closed. Spend a little more and get a larger injector that can handle a higher pressure

Sorry to pipe in, but by your explaination even with a standalone your fuel will go back into the injector. Sorry that's the impression I got from it, and I know it's not true. I'm running a DIY EFI, and was curious if you think I'd still benefit from a FMU?
