Default fmu question

Yes I am a noob, and I have searched, but not too much information on turbos and atvs. My question is I don't have a way to make this thing fuel injected, so I can't use a hack, so with the fmu, my only choice at this time. How will it hook up? The line from the pump will go to the main line in the fmu, and one line goes to the carb, the other line for more fuel when I spool up need to go where? In the intake after the carb? Any help would be great Thanks.

i dont think an fmu will work on a carb'ed engine will it.

if you arent using an intercooler then do a draw through setup and jet the carb/s accordingly

an fmu wont do anything for a carbureted engine besides block fuel during boost i thought..doesnt really make sense..you dont really need much more fuel pressure for the carb just run a blow-through system..make a little hat for the carb and boost..some people just make a little metal box that completely surrounds the carb so the entire carb is in a boosted environment..but i dont see where an fmu would help you

noob. you know nothing about carbs. you don't ADD pressure unless you're adding BOOST PRESSURE keeps the venturi effect working properly and not leaning the engine ---- tons..

the only downside with running a blow through setup.......getting fuel into the bowls.

Adding boost thru a hat or box pressurizes the bowls, which will help hold the needle and seat close,

Just don't jack the fuel pressure to high and blow the needle off the seat under normal cruising, flood the motor and stray spark burns the whole car down.........
