Default FMIC install help

I'm using the johnnyracecar 5" IC on a crx. My question is did anyone have to do some grinding/cutting on the bumper itself to get the IC centered in the opening in the bumper cover?

I did an *** of cutting and mine still pushes the bumper out some. What year rex? I think the earlier models have an easier bumper to work with. But yeah I did a lot of hacking, If you want I'll take some pictures tommorrow.
