The rubber hose will work. DSM's come with rubber piping.

I have never seen the stuff on the bottom, but what is the point. I wouldn't think it is worth it.

I would stick to steel bends and couplings. That is my suggestion.

I would suggest spending the money on steel pipes and silicone/HD fittings. Really not worth boosting a little earlier instead of doing it right.

Both of those items are probably really expensive also. You can do the charge piping yourself, it is really easy actually. If you want to make it easier, buy a cheap CAI, after that you need like 2 pieces of pipe.

Do it right (steel/silicone)... Because your not going to upgrade until they break, even if you say you won't.

oh realy sonny boy? PVC pipes at home depot + jb weld oWn you. just add a metal pipe about 1' long comming outta the turbo compressor to protect the pvc from the heat. paint the pipes flat black and it'll look good. some people run pvc pipes permanantly. upto 12psi too.

There's no doubt that pvc will handle the pressure but if it gets too hot it emits chlorine gas which is extremely toxic and will possibly work it's way in to the passenger area.

naw i wasnt ever gonna use pvc pipe i was gonna use radiator hose and this is ONLY for 8psi. i will not raise the boost till i have bought another motor i cant afford to be without a car for any long periods of time and the extra money i save will go towards tuning

The way I see it, you should go steel/silicone because it is gonna be more expensive to do either of the things you suggested.

If you are gonna do something just do it right once.
