It was not a joke. DSM guys use manifold spacers when the turbo doesn't fit quite right or it hits the block. I haven't seen them in a while but you can get them from extremepsi.com I believe. Look under the 1G DSM area.

or make a spacer/adapter for the turbo. that should be pretty easy.
just make it extend a couple inches.

dont need too ... i cut the bracket and it fits .. but the next thing is the downpipe looks like its gonna be damn close to the radiator fan shroud ...hopefullly it doesnt melt

ya i thought that was stupid ..no i didnt cut my block .. the only thing i cut was a bracket and it was a small piece .

did some more ---- today .. and i decided to get a slim fan on ebay so i have more room to route the downpipe/ IC tubing
