nice build but i think you filled the block a tad to much, 3/8-1/2" is sweet cooling it better my first filled block was like your i had a cooling problem during break-in torn the motor down and had some removed on a cnc 4axis lathe to a 1/2" down from deck height, put back together ran like a stock motor would, good luck with the build keep us updated

Ok took it out to break it in, everything went great, no cooling issues to do with the block filler, But my radiator did leak and of course, with a nece new pretty engine, everyone has to have an oil leak!!!WTF. Apart she comes again.

Opt. 2- Main Seal- What a bitch
Opt. 3- One of those allen plugs for the oil passageway- Again, What a bitch to get to......

This thread is a bit crap, but when are you going to put this engine in the car? I want vids!! And numbers of course!

 

engine is in the car now. and running well leaks fixed I belive he is still working out the vtec wiring problems. should be a easy fix. boost in the next few hunderd miles give it a good break in ya know. I will try to get cory to keep us all up dated a lil better.
