here is my set up so far...my welds broke on my manifold so im going to have to have the entire mani rewelded..and besides the mani and my super bad turbo seals...it looks good so far..lets just hope its going to perform as well as i hope

14B (TD05 )
DSM 450cc injectors
crome basemap

2.5 inch down pipe
SSAC external wastegat with 7psi spring

custom made top mount turbo manifol
30x6x3 inch front mount

ya its a airmass header with a adapter i made...im getting it all rewelded tomorrow so im going to cut the collector about an inch so i dont have to mod the hood..but im still not boosted...i need a new turbo :'(...but it will get done slowly

that setup would so much cooler if that turbo wasn't so tiny lol. topmounts are sexy when the turbo is nice n huge. nice setup tho. n nice idea with modding the stock header with an adapter loopin back up for a topmount.

ya i plan on upgrading to a 16g or 18g...but for now my funds can only get me a little ass 14b ...that has busted seals and leaks oil like a mad man....and my manifold is cracked at the bottom but its getting welded up sometime this week

im pretty sure the "Airmass" header portion of it will support a 14b but not much of anything bigger. i mean my turbo weighs 26 pounds, and im sure once heat soak sets in and its not transfering too well, it will slowly start to sag and break.

so i would stick with a 14b or something like a t3 60-1

no i made a support for the header using the factory header brace...it should hold, i just need to find a new turbo to find out :S

ya my selas are blown and i just found a 16g on a dsm fourm for 150 i think im going to pick it up :6..if not i'll just turn the boost up a little bit >:D...i'll post some pics of the mani after my new camera gets here...still havent got to drive the car yet..i hope it pulls nice

nice and clean, i like your vacume T. i see you were able to ceap your power stearing thx to the top mount (i had to cut my mount and slice my hoses) i say if you can do body work make a hump on your hood like the talon

ya i have brand new paint and i have a guy thats going to help me make a hump..but i took off my power steering because its to hard to work on with the charge pipes being so close to it...i have to wait till my new camera comes in and i'll take pics of the mani

lol ya parkings a bitch. how much clearence you need to close the hood? i say give your self at least 1-1.5 inches of clearence between the hood and turbo or you might get paint bubeling or bondo blistering/cracking the more the better good luck.

ya im buying some eat sheild ---- and im raising the hood up about an inch..it should be fine...if not we'll find out

ya some kind of heat shield might work make shure you do a good job im a body man so i know something about paint and bondo
