hows it feel man? My basemaps were extremely rich in my setup. A few weeks ago when it was pretty warm one day my mixture got so rich around 6k rpms that my car would feel like it was hitting a rev limiter and buck at that point. Thats when I hooked up my wideband and saw that the afr was dipping into the 9's. I guess thats what I get for running maps that were tuned for 12psi with a much bigger turbo when I was only running 8psi and a small turbo. I guess it hadn't been tuned much for the lower boost. Anyways I decided I finally needed to get off my *** and tune it that day :P. After tuning I ended up with a nice 11.5:1 afr and a much smoother powerband with no hesitation at 6k anymore.

^^ Yeah, turbo size plays a huge role, I never knew how much til now. I now know the true value of tuning, basemaps really are just basemaps. My setup is a stock D15b7 with an A6 head. 48/60 T3 turbo, Dsm 450's, DSM sidemount, HKS SSQV (Which gets louder everytime I turn up the boost) 5 psi soon to be turned up etc. I wanted to blow this thing up at the track but if my built motor is ready before then I guess I'll just do some 15 psi pulls on the street

Wow the timing in your map is pretty agressive. It needed to be riched up a whole lot.

The 1.5 loves the aggressive timing, thats the only way she knows how to roll.

i'm not exactly sure what my AR is. My turbo is probably close to the size of a t25. Its a tiny wrx turbo. I don't think the tune will be too far off though. I tuned the maps fairly rich. On my car its around 11.5:1 at 8psi. Anything above that and it should be even richer. When i'm running 10psi its around like 11.2:1 in boost. I still need to lean that out a little in that column, but I can't get my boost controller to hold a steady 10psi.
