Re: Finally finished up my setup!! Tuning to come soon!
Blaast performance hooked me up with a killer deal on a new CHRA and shipped it out super fast. They really exceeded my expectations, I'm really appreciative for their assistance!!
Anyways, I got the car back together last weekend, everything went together smoothly. This was like the 6th time I've taken it apart and put it back together so by now I am so familiar with the tool sizes that I need for each task that I can just blow through the whole installation in no time. lol This new CHRA is freakin tight. Absolutely no leaks, not a drop. The turbo spools really quickly and the whole turbo system just works perfectly. I took it down to a local dyno last Monday to see where my AF ratios are at and they were at 12.5 while in boost, which is a little lean for my liking. So I am now in the process of trying to find someone to tune it. The guy that was going to tune it has been super busy lately and then his laptop took a ----, so who knows when I am going to be able to get it tuned. It runs really well though, and it's not knocking at all, so I'm not too worried about driving it for a bit. Anyways, so like always, I'm already thinking about a new project. lol. I have a problem with wanting to start new projects as soon as I get done with old ones. This next project that I'm thinking about is an E30 BMW. Most likely like an 1989ish 325i, then do a turbo. But I think I'm going to force myself to drive this one for a while so I can get some value out of this project before I get rid of it. Here's a final pic of this project: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...s/AllDone1.jpg |

Go west, young man. I work 70 hours a week on top of school, but I always fit people in. ;)
