There is something wrong with your suspension if you break free at the top of 2nd, on a D-series, at 10 psi. ---- tires, bad alignment (usually due to lowering), slopped bushings, etc.

Lowered with Eibachs with 16 Rotas wrapped in Hankook HRII's (steelies w/ winter treads right now) and currently going to HomeMadeMount the front and rear mounts with window weld. I've done it before though. Sooooo......?

10 psi on LS, in 1800 lb HF, and no traction problems except @ shift from 1-2. 2-3 required slight feathering upon shift, but hooked + went. 3-4th chirped the tires with gas pedal mashed flat during the shift. 4-5th only barked the tires if I revved it up and dumped it, but never when shifting.

If lowered, you NEED camber kits, and a proper alignment with STOCK camber. If you have 500-1000 miles on your tires before you get aligned, if you drive like a man and not a woman anyway, they are already ruined and traction is compromised.

Suspension only gets critical if your front end lifts. Good spring rates, and suspension bushings for the older cars (pretty much any car on HMT is "old"), minimuze lift.

Agreed. The common rule people follow is as long as you don't go lower then 1.2-2" you don't need a chamber kit is bullshit. Every car is different. Even if you only go that low you should still get it re-aligned and double check if your chamber is within spec.

Going to new tires and correcting my chamber made a WORLD of difference even over correcting it before new tires.

Yes and no. When I was NA, and really slung some curves in my car, the -1.5 degrees front camber was cute. With all the corners, the tirewear was even and the car felt great.

Add boost, and tire life went from 12K miles to 2K miles. All that straightline boosting wore the hell out of the tires, and in short order the car went from feeling great to feeling like poopy until you had her locked in third.

But, anyway, who gives a ----? I'm with Jimclure. I want to see video of the HX40'd SOHC!
