To all sohc people I have done it.done what!!Ispooled a holset hx40 with my stock d15vtec it hauls ***.I will post some pic later tonight,its a holset hx40 with a garrett .48 housin(ported) I 'm currently runinin 10psi.I only have a few issues now like i'm having a compressor surge if anyone can telkl me how to eliminate it ur help is appreciated.

Just finsihed by d15b7 also, runnin t3/t4 garret .48.60 stage 3 stock motor. At 5 psi's and pulls like a bitch, but i won't be happy till i'm at least 8-10 psi. I need new freakin tires and lsd now, God forbid it RAINS, i loose traction in 3rd-4th when i boost in rain

that manifold looks sweet with the stock cast head flange. So how retarded is the spool time?

 

when did it hit full power? damn thats big!!

 

I hit full boost by 4000rpm and it rips like a mf...Iwas so glad i decided to try with the turbo because everyone i askeddiscourged me from using it saying it wouldn't spool its 2 BIG.Well I said i would die trying but i suck c d Ded

 

Did the Holset and Garret housing go together just like that? Nice do on the kit. But now that you provided pics, How bout some details on the turbo itselt.
