Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
tack a nut on each side of the charge piping and get a strip of metal. Kinda like what people use to hold on IC's. That ---- with holes in it. Then just bolt it together. Seen it done on high horsepower ----. If it blows off after that then your pretty hardcore.

Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
but i also have an extra coolant line that i dont no where it goes cause i changed from a dx intake manifold to ex manifold and i plug it and now my car is over heating and i dont think that i have coolant going through my intake manifold.
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
the coolant that goes to your intake is just to heat up the intake air. you dont need it.
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
its causeing my car to over heat i think
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
no, it's not.
you're overheating has nothing to with the coolant going to your intake. There is a coolant line on the intake that goes into the head, and yes you need that. you need to post some pics of this ---- you're talking about, because you're not being very specific. |

Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
I'm sorry, i can no longer help you. You make me want to reach through the screen and rip out your mothers ovaries, then replace them with your shriveled faggot testicles, so that neither of you can spawn any more retarded offspring.
O ya, and next time you get the chance, bite your father's dick off for me please. |
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
ok now that I've got that out, I'll help you once more.
What I was trying to say was, draw a thick black line from that one coolant fitting to the other one, that should resolve your overheating. :1 |
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
that is the breather port right, where the coolant is coming out is right under the intake manifold do you no where i can get a coolent diagram from for a 97 civic
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
Ya, you're right I'm just ------- with you, don't do what the pic says.
You need to run the coolant line coming out of the head to the line on the t-stat housing. |
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
and my car is smoking like a mother and running really rich??

and you have a fmu |
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
jesus christ, glad i'm drunk :)
you have too much ---- connected to a single vaccuum source, your wastegate should be connected to a port on your turbo if it has one with nothing else teed to it, also it looks like you have both the side and top port connected on you wastegate, only the one on the side should be connected, the top one is for a boost controller, since you have both of those and your fuel pressure regulator and the ------- fmu all connected to the same vaccuum reference your engine probably doesn't know what the ---- is going on. the coolant line should go from under the throttle body to a port just underneath the vent on the valve cover, whoever posted the picture of the hose going from the valve cover to the temp sensor is a moron. ps get rid of the ------- fmu, this is the 21st century ------ :8 post more pics, we'll set you strait |
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
ok thanks well i got the coolent fixed but im afraid to go over 4000rpm cause my boost is shooting up to like ten
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
take a picture of the wastegate, looks like you have both the side port and the top port hooked up (together which is wrong) and i'm guessing the other end of the tee is venting to air, thus causing the vaccuum leak and defeating the purpose of that entire cluster ---- of vaccuum madness you have going on there. if this is the case then its the same as just unhooking your wastegate line altogether which explains why your boost is climbing so high.
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added more pics
just fixed the wastegate now i can actualy drive the car i luv turbo even though its only 4psi but its a start and i want more.
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
how do i install a boost control i no it comes off the top of the wastegate but then does it just hook into the vacume source?
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
About those hose clamps, a flat blade screwdriver isnt enough... Make sure to give a little more torque with the box end of a wrench (but not too much, they'll break if you go too far)

Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
You know your oil feed line has to go at the top of the turbo right? In your picture it looks to be about 3 o'clock. That is your smoking problem.
|
Re: finally finished!!!!! help? added pics
is there anyother problem with that or is just cause smokin
