watch out running that feed line like that, it may be steel but the inside is still rubber, that could be your where your smoking issues came from, i'd suggest putting something over the line that is heat resistant or putting the line somewhere else.

mine is that way n its fine. maybe your feeding TOO much oil and its pushing oil through the seals burning it on the exhaust side causing it to smoke, take off ur ic pipes and check for oil inside...oil feed pressure might be to high... jus a thought
