Default Finally boosted - D14 :)

Yay!

Finally boosting!!!

Setup:
D14A4 (Civic 6th gen)
Garrett T2
IC, BOV
FMU 10:1, inline fuel pump
Gagues - A/F, boost, oil temp

Car puls very smooth, and harder than before (imagine that ).
No bluish smokes, no leaks, no signs of detonation (ignition is set to stock! - will retard it for 1 degree just in case... - need timing light 1st tho). However I do get a boost creep (sigh).

At 2000rpm it starts building pressure, at 3000rpm it's arround 5-6psi, at 6500rpm it's 8psi.

Hopefully next week will go to dyno to double-check A/F ratio, and get some numbers.

What can I say... happy as a puppy! Feels sooo great to drive turboed honda, even at light throttle it just starts pulling .. and not to mention awsum sound of BOV when releasing throttle.. yay!

BOV is Forge VTA - http://www.hr-a.com/impreza/ceedee/pics/engine/013.jpg - sound is awesome!
Intercooler comes of Opel Astra 1.9TDI (european model).
Pics will be soon

Sheesh... just came back home.. was driving some 100miles arround city.. wow! Feels soooo good!
Before going home saw a friend.. he got Del Sol 1.6 with 125HP engine... hehe.. beat him fairly easy -> which means I got over 125HP -> since I also shifted at 6000rpm (waiting to go to wideband to be shure for A/F ratio... altho A/F gauge shows rich).

Best thing is torque.. I lied in 1st post -> at 2000rpm I got almost 3psi already!!
Under 6000rpm it's arround 7psi, which is fairly good, no signs of detonations at all.. just smooth pull!
Now when I cruise, I can shift into higher gear at 3000-3500rpm, and still have enuff torque for acceleration in next gear! Awsum...

Hi,

Since I already have the 6th gen 1,4 Civic, I've also been looking for some extra hp, but couldn't find a thing

So I'm very curieus what your setup is. Could you please mail me a part list

(goossensh@hotmail.com)

I can realy use some help on accomplishing this project cause I don't know sh*t about turbo's for now, but want to learn very very fast.

Thanks
